Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears Transparent bar Soap.
Brush: Anbbas 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Ikea Kalas Side Bowl.
Lather: Proraso Sandalwood & Shea Butter Shaving Cream.
Blade: Amazon Solimo. (D1)
Razor: Lord L125 Head w/Muhle R89 Handle.
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) (D2)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Boots Freshwood ASL./Nivea soft moisturiser.

(Face & Head Shave)

A new shave set up to start the Weekend...The Proraso Sandalwood & Shea Butter shaving cream never fails to provide an acceptable lather with a excellent sandalwood scent.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea soft moisturiser.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

The Palmolive Shave Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #458 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Goodwill Razor razor and the PolSilver DE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva Musk After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

No, I don't. I do dry the handles after each shave.

Does this Lea Classic cream ever smell fantastic - the scent is hard for me to describe but it’s absolutely delightful. Just a small amount is needed to get great lather, there’s plenty of slickness to it, although it’s not as cold as the Lea Menthol version it’s still quite cold, and it gives such a comfortable postshave feeling - it’s so soothing. The Gold Bond moisturizer is perfect for sensitive skin, and I LOVE the scent of the Aqua Velva Sport aftershave as well as its menthol kick. Not even a professional barber could have given me a better shave - three passes left me smoother than silk - BBS all the way - what a great shave this was!

SE SOTD, Saturday, January 18th 2025

Razor : Yaqi Romulus 316 SSP head with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2024>, tame mid range to mid range depending on blades used. Excellent machining, finish and design. Open comb fives a little more blade feel than the The Romulus straight bar variant.
Blade : Kai Captain Titian mild pink(7) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. Using up some shaves from a old blade that has some life left in it.
Soap : TOBS herbal sandalwood, nice scented soap with some of the best lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "barber pole" 24mm 2band badger. Excellent brush for my shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel soap residual beard cleanse + Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandal wood + a dollop of Geo F Trumper sandalwood skin food.
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus SE razor with a Kai CTMP blade.
