Bowl: Ikea Kalas Side Bowl.
Lather: Nivea Men Originals Shaving Cream.
Blade: Amazon Solimo. (D2)
Razor: Baili BD177 Rose Gold TTO.

A very in-expensive Sunday morning shave set up where everything worked together wonderfully.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

The Palmolive Shave Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #458 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher razor and the Personna Gem Stainless PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva Musk After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It’s been a long time since I used any of these these soaps from River Valley Trading in Durban, South Africa so today I decided to go with the Lemon Cream and I’m so happy that I did because it’s FANTASTIC. It’s vegan based like all of Mo’s soaps, it has a lovely lemony scent with a couple of other notes that I can’t really describe, it’s chock full of thick, rich lather that’s quite slick, and it’s very skin friendly. The Lubriderm moisturizer works great as a balm, and the Pe Re Ja cologne from Turkey smells beautiful - not only that, there’s a story behind it. The owner of the company which produces it is a Turkish Jewish man who named it after his three children.

I've been super impressed buy all the soaps I've tried from them.

 

First shave with a Simplex DE. It didn't have a handle when I got it in a large lot purchase, so I mounted it on a Mühle handle. It was surprisingly efficient for how mild it felt. This was my first time using Mid Cape Barber as well. I've been super impressed by all of Subtle Art Soap Co's soaps that I've tried.

Razor: Merkur 34c // Blade: Astra SP // Soap: MdC Original // Brush: Omega 20102 // Aftershave: Myrsol Agua Balsamica

Back to the roots…the razor my whole journey startet with. Merkur 34c…it´s like coming home or meeting an old friend which you have not seen for decades but still have that trusty and warm feeling.

The shave today was nothing but outstanding. With the Astra the shave went very smooth and gentle. BBS in three passes.

Soap and brush performed wonderful as well. I love that scent MdC created here. To end this joyful shave, the Agua Balsamica took care. What a great scent. Herbal and elegant.

A 10 out of 10
