The Eskimo Tuxedo Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #144 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Fatip Grande razor and the PolSilver DE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Nice combo to start the week with. The Parker/7Days worked well together. I get great lather from Williams and the Maggard Synthetic is not only lovely to look at but it works well too. So a fine shave was had and my face is happy. Now go and enjoy your day folks.

MMMonday, January 27th, 2025

Razor : 1912 Gem jr parade variant. Mfg 1943, tame mid range. Excellent stamping for it's era of sheet metal manufacturing in USA. You can get a close shave with this razor with a fresh Gem PTFE blade. Tapered baton handle is light & enjoyable to work the beard.
Blade : Gem PTFE (1) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock Emperor, a very linear cologne scent + has excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Deep stones" 24mm boss knot. it's a dark brush to start the morning out with. Napoleon was a dark historical person.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Emperor AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Gem Jr 1943 variant with a coated Gem blade.

This Groom soap and aftershave are made right here in Montreal and they were gifts from my inlaws a couple of years ago. The scent is very nice - it’s really old school and barbershoppy, the soap is an excellent latherer, it’s fairly slick, and it’s pretty good skincare wise. The Lubriderm moisturizer is so soothing, and the Groom aftershave has no sting despite being alcohol based - its scent is long lasting. No complaints about today’s shave - three passes cleaned me up beautifully!
