Chiseled Face has newer appearances than they had before. I like their creativity. Course their products remain the same-GREAT(sorry for the Tony The Tiger routine).

I’m still feeling the effects of this flu that I caught a week ago so I couldn’t really enjoy the scent of the Valobra stick but at least it lathered great. The Proraso Blue balm provided lots of soothing postshave moisturizing and soothing because my face felt a bit dry. Last but not least the Florida Water went on with a nice cooling sensation - strange, because it has no menthol. A good BBS shave from three passes so no complaints.

SE SOTD, Friday, January 3rd 2025

Razor : Yaqi Romulus SE 316 SSP with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023, mild to tame mid range. Excellent machining, finish and design + nimble maneuvering of razor.
Blade : Kai CTMP (5) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Ach Brito Lavanda cream, very light lavender scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Purple haze" 24mm synthetic knot. Nice over all brush for my shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus SE razor with a Kai CTMP blade.

A new eclectic shave set up to start the first weekend face & head shave of 2025...

Maiden outing with the Amazon Solimo blade. First verdict? This morning I done a extra XTG pass to test the blade edge of which I get the feeling this blade will give good longevity, only time will tell, so I'll push them to max of four 3 pass +pick ups' shaves per blade for my shaving curiosity throughout the month.

The Gillette Guard performance was more than acceptable mowing through my head stubble with effortless ease.

A close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel EdT to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

The Musgo Real Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #1 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette 1905 Double Ring razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Three pass perfection - what a great shave this was. Every time I use the Noxzema cream I love it more and more - it gives me such pleasure to smell that wonderful old school scent, the lather is so wonderful, it has a heavenly menthol sensation, and it cannot be beaten in the skincare department. The Prep and the Polar Ice were a superb finishing combination. Not even a professional barber could have shaved me better than this - strangely enough the Junjie which is so damned cheap performs very efficiently!
