Horrible, non-profitable day at work, followed by coming home to the clan arguing and bickering.

A nice long hot shower, and a relaxing shave with a face full of menthol helps to lower the blood pressure and relax me for the night.

    Menthol take me away! :Animatedfrozensmily:

    Monday Evening:

    Pre: Hot Shower
    Razor: Merkur 23c
    Blade: Voskhod (4) / Polsilver (5)
    Cream: European Palmolive
    Brush: Omega Boar
Post: Thayers WH, Cold Rinse, RSC Balm

This evenings shave was interesting to say the least. I think I found the end of my first Voskhod, and Polsilver. Not particularly close, and quite irritating, but the WH and Balm took care of most of it after. Seemed like lots of tugging from both blades, but all in all, I would call this acceptable, not ideal.

    Have a good night all!

    1. Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar
    2. Coffee: Locally roasted, fresh ground Sumatran w/ cream
    3. Lather: RazoRock XXX - face lather
    4. Brush: Frank Shaving Finest
    5. Razor: Merkur Classic (33C)
    6. Blade: Voskhod (1); 4 passes
    7. Post: Cold water rinse; Osage Rub; Kiehl's Balm
1st shave w/ a Voskhod from a pack that was an extra goody from Phil @ Bullgoose. It had a nice balance of sharpness & smoothness which gave me a great shave & it's forgiving nature left me completely blood free. It actually performed a little better for me than last shave's Med Prep.

Shave Rating - Splendidly Sublime. God Bless!

Thanks, Nick. That's what I normally do, but I was half asleep during my shave this morning and wanted to rub the puck on my face. It works very well and saves a little time if you're in a pinch.

I tried the MWF bath soap tonight for the first time and I'm hooked already. Same goodness as the shave soap except all over.;)

My first shave with the Spatia cream, which is in the blue tube, and I'll say this - it lathers very easily and richly. It gives a very comfortable feeling on the skin with good protection. The Nivea Replenishing balsam is very moisturizing and soothing. All in all, a great shave! ;) :D

Haha, if I had an SLR I wouldn't have to get so close...

BTW thanks again for the Bond, I dunno why but I think this might just be one of the best creams I've used, it makes a very thin lather but its so slick and cushioning its almost unreal...
