After two days with my Open Comb 11 C, Slanty, 37 C was up today.

I selected my kit and set out to mow it down.

    Audio-The Howard Stern Show
    Pre-TSD ISZ
    Blade-Gillette 7 o'clock Dark Blue (2)
    Razor-Merkur 37 C Slanty
    Soap-Cella
Post-1. TSD ISZ Witch Hazel, 2.TSD ISZ Milk
    AS-Aqua Velva Ice Blue

A very nice shave indeed. My face feels so smooth...I love seeing how long I can rub my cheeks against the grain and still feel smooth, which has passed today but I am still at least DFS. Just a great combination of products.

    Wednesday

Prep: hot water rinse and hot washing cloth
    Soap: DVH 'extra fresh'
Brush: Wilkinson Sword badger / boar
Mug lathering: old Tabac soap mug
    Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
    Blade: Derby
    3-pass shave + minor touch-up
    Post: cool water rinse
Music: Daft Punk, Tron Legacy soundtrack

Another DFS and again close to BBS. Nice!

I'm getting the hang of this new soap: make a fairly dry start and build it up with bits of water. Result: loads of rich lather. Love it!

    Happy shaving!

Beautiful shave again, Palmolive just exploded on my face double quick time, I think my face lathering skills are improving. That and my boar brushes are breaking in nicely. Loving Omega. Performance + Affordable. Perfect combo.

    Omega Boar
    Nanny's Sandalwood
    Alum
    Tabac ASL

Awesome! This razor was always a good shaver but its been used enough to warrant a touch up. So a few laps on my Naniwa 12K and a good stropping and it was better than ever! So close and comfortable, I barely felt the alum pass over my face. I'm enjoying the Tabac too, which I've been neglecting lately.

    Menthol Thursday

    Gillette Tech
    Vokshod (day 1)
    Vulfix travel brush
    TSD Iced Sandalwood SS
    TSD Iced Eucalyptus Which Hazel
    Proraso AS

    foto.JPG

So yesterday some very cool :) goodies arrived from the store.
I love sandalwood and I love menhol, so the option to ice up the sandalwood soap really is the best of both worlds. Great lather, great scent, great cooling.
Finished for the very first time with wich hazel (just couldn't resist to have the iced version in this one, too). Very nice feeling, nice cooling effect and I like the Eucalyptus scent. And because of that I reckoned a splash of Proraso wouldn't harm anyone...
The Vokshod blade in the Tech didn't impress me, though. I needed four full passes + touch up to get an acceptable shave. So tomorrow I will try it in another razor.
