Good shave, bittersweet cause it's the last one I'll be doing at home for a few months now. Shark blades aren't too shabby, not as high on my list as Rapira and Astra though. I'm really starting to love this face lathering though, going to definitely have to finally make some decisions for my order I'm sending tomorrow...

Each morning I start out with a hot shower, this morning the stiffness won'y undo.
While showering Parker Badger was warming up.
I chose Mama Bear's Hydrogen. I have been experimenting with my lathering, I have been easing up on my brush pressure and it has dramatically improved the lather.
I chose a Gillette Open Comb, I loaded with a mystery blade (from the grab bawx).
Three passes, warm water rinse, polar water splash, pat dry, Thayer's Witch Hazel, Fitness Balm.
A superior 5 blade rated DFS.

Well, my good friend Phil from BullGoose and I traded some creams recently, and this morning he tried my Kool Monsoon from Bangladesh, and this morning I tried his Gillette Menthol from France. Let me say this - the Gillette Menthol from France smells much, much nicer and lathers much, much better than the Gillette Menthol garbage from Lebanon which I have used before. It also moisturizes better, and the Floid Classic aftershave adds very good cooling. I would say that Phil and I did a great cultural exchange!

I love how you describe the scent! I'm also happy to see that you enjoyed your first shave with this cream, and I'll try to get it for you again. It's amazing about YMMV - I find it actually quite cooling.

A Jolly good evening shave. Day 2 with this blade, a bit of tugging due to my carelessness because of sickness, but overall the shave is almost BBS, and that lightened my evening. Not a bad blade at all actually, I was expecting to not like it. Just goes to show, thoughts and expectations can be decieving.

another late post for a morning shave, it was a very busy day. This was such a good shave, I forgot to take a picture. It was a three pass, DFS+. I love the proraso white, it smells great with great skin care properties. Great lather as well, with a little bit of cooling. Very nice smooth shave.
I took my daughter to gymnastics this morning, then we had a birthday party to attend. After she took a nap, we went to dinner with the father in-law. This has been a great day, now I'm sitting back with with a little bourbon.
I don't think it gets better than this today. god bless.
