    Slanted Shave # 15

Slanty has ruined me for my other razors. With a change of an angle or flick of a wrist it goes from wild to mild. It's love.

I switched to Gillette 7 o'clock Platinum Black Ninja Blades, and the result is a great shave.

    EBC Pre Shave
    Vulfix 404 Mixed
    MWF
    Gillette 7 o'clock Black (5 and retired)
    Merkur 37 C Slant
    Witch Hazel/TSD Bourbon Vanilla Milk
    Pinaud Clubman Original

I was barbershop fresh with another great shave. Get Bent-Go Slanted

    Sunday
    Hot Shower
    Merkur 38C + Rapira SS (D2, Stropped)
    EJ Pure Badger Brush
    EJ Aloe Cream
    Cold Water Rinse
    Old Spice Classic A/S

Not a bad shave this morning, first one back on base, not everyone's here so it's nice and quiet. This brush is kinda pissing me off for face lathering though, it's too floppy. DFS though at least!

Effortless and awesome with a razor that never disappoints. I'd given it a few laps on a crox strop before the shave and the HHT was a silent fall apart. BBS

    GDCarrington Burma Shave

My surgically repair feet and legs have been bothering me today so even though I showered this morning, I decided to take a needed soak and tried a new product.

I will follow the testing measure that we use for soaps and cream. An homage to Jeff (Crackstar)!

    DSCF1211.JPG

For a foot soak you use a part of the package. For a bath soak you use the entire package per the instructions. I chose the bath route to ease the leg issues.

    Now to the results!

    Ease of lathering: 0/10--No soap!

Longevity of lather: 0/10--What does not exist, does not last!

General skincare: 5/10--No better or worse than any other set of Foot/Bath Salts.

Scent: 6/10--Initial Spearmint and Menthol scent was nice, but it evaporated quickly! Could have used more Menthol!

Price: 8/10--$1.00 is Reasonably-priced compared to any spa treatment.

Would I buy again: 10/10--Yes if available.

    Sun Jan 8
    Brush: Vie-Long Horse
    Soap/Creme: Cella
    Razor: Merkur Slant
    Blade: Gillette (dark blue pack)
    Pre: How Towel
Post: alum followed by Witch Hazel
    Hair Groom: Gables Creme Oil
Result: Got a DFS after 3 passes and was liking the blade, so I went for a 4th to try for BBS. I mostly got it, but also got a little irritation. Sometimes it is best to know when to stop. ;>

With four days growth I figured the R41 grande was in order.
    Frank's Best brush
JM Fraser's org. (haven't used this in awhile)
    R41 Grande 2 passes
    7 O'clock yellow (3)
    Cold water rinse
Alum block (not even a tingle)
    Osage rub
I figured I would do a little touchup on the chin so got out the EJ89 w/7 o'clock green and first stroke I felt nothing ,had too check and see there was really a blade in there.Well I guess the R41 did the job and no need for anything else.
    Great DFS

Normally I shower and I did this morning, but my legs were giving me a lot of issues today. Now maybe I should order some M-bomb to boost ... nevermind. :happy102:
