I decided to shower and shave after I called it a night on coursework. I hit the shower around 3am. The shave went really well; I believe it was the first one in about 3 days. Super smooth, zero irritation, and it left me feeling great! I think my 2.5-3 hours of sleep after the shave were more restful because of the shave.

Anyway, DFS+ all the way!

Another great shave! Tomorrow, I plan to try the Kool Monsoon shaving cream that I recently received from Jeff (Crackstar).

 

I am glad to hear that you like the Lavanda cream. I believe the cream in your post is the old Lavanda. Here is a picture of the new stuff (and the cream you used today).

I love starting Fridays with a great shave.
I love starting any day with a great shave, but Fridays are special.
Fridays deserve a shave worthy of babies, unicorns and weekends with no mother-in-laws.

Shawna, how's the TSD Sea Buckthorn? I've been thinking about it lately and wonder if I should try it.

 

The scent is spot on with the Edwin Jagger version. I started with the Edwin Jagger and then the TSD store offered their version. I love them both and just ordered the ASM to go along with the soap.

 

I want the ASM in Sea Buckthorn as well and wondered if it was close to the EJ version. I bet the two together are outstanding.

Decent face lather again this morning, however this brush (While having the most backbone out of my 2) was still floppy and didn't do the kind of job I was hoping for. Fortunately the cream explodes easily and I was able to do 3 passes without too much arm wrenching effort by the end of it. The Rapira blades are new, gave it a quick hand strop and I'm again very happy with the performance of these cheap guys. They're neck in neck with my Astras for the number 1 spot LOL. Easily a DFS.

Great shave to start my Friday!

 

An excellent shave for a Friday morning, though, this being my first shave with this blade, I ended up with some irritation that the Witch Hazel took care of.

 

I actually have an unopened tube of that......I assume the cream has a lavender scent? Perhaps I should just open it and find out!
