    Razor: GEM MMOC
    Blade: GEM SS
    Brush: Omega Boar 10810
    Lather: Stirling Sandalwood, face lathered
Passes: Sideburns;WTG, ATG, XTG Chin: WTG, WTG

Fourth shave with the MMOC. Vastly overrated as being aggressive IMO. I find the ER 1924 to give me much more blade feel and more efficiency. DFS with very little razor burn. Also first time using a boar brush. It's well broken in and very nice for face lathering. Much better than the Parker synthetic. I wish I had gotten a boar years before.

Great shave this morning. I swear one of these days I'm just going to quit messing around and just use Williams again. It's a little tough on my skin (drying) but nothing a good balm can't take care of. I hit an estate sale this morning and picked up a Gillette DE, barber hone, a shaving mug and an old Ever ready shaving brush. He's going to be bringing in a few straights for me to look at tomorrow that came out of an old barber shop in town. I've found these dealers a little flaky so who knows if he will. Have a good one.

    Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion
    Razor: Weber PH
Blade: Derby Extra (1 and last)
Soap: Mike's Natural Peppermint and Rosemary
    Brush: Semogue 830
    Post: Witch Hazel, Cetaphil Lotion
    Aftershave: Brut

I normally shave in the mornings, but I didn't have time this morning. I decided to take a leisurely shave this evening. I have never used a Derby blade, so I thought I'd give it a try. I made it through the entire shave with this blade, but a Derby will never touch my face again. I finished with a DFS, but it was far from pleasant. It tugged and pulled the entire shave, even on the third pass. I wasn't worried about cutting myself, though, because the blade was barely sharp enough to cut through whiskers. I figured it couldn't cut my skin. It took 7 passes to get some areas and no razor burn or irritation at all. The blade is just too dull to irritate the skin.

    Have a great evening!

    Today's shave.

Prep: hot shower, Cremo Face Wash.
    Brush : Turkish #6 Brush.
    Razor : Gillette Aluminum Tech.
    Blade : Personna Lab.
    Cream: Barbon.
Post : cold water rinse, Barbon AS.

Guys, I got a super DFS. The Barbon cream lathers up so well with little problem. It also smells very similar to Musgo Real Original. I think the skincare is better in Barbon, but that's just me. It's also extremely slick, has plenty of cushion, and is vastly underrated. Why don't I use this more? The Barbon AS finished up everything nicely. It also smells good, has a powerful instantaneous menthol blast, and is one of the best out there for skincare. If you don't have this duo, you're missing out.

Bruce, you said last week; "Just for you Lloyd I'll send you a centerfold of the Ever Ready 1924. Sounds like you two are making beautiful music together! " Thats funny, as loud as this razor sings, you're absolutely right...lol!!

    Sunday
    HOT !!! shower
    Arko Stick
Omega Baby-Pro 10029 (proof that 'Big Lather can come from a small package...lol!)
    1924 EverReady 'Shovelhead'
    Rebul Lavanda Colonia

2 1/2 pass BBS....I do believe the GEM Damaskeene is probably the greatest razor design in history. And Schick did invent a better 'mousetrap'. And the EverReady 1914 is maybe the most elegant looking safety razor....There are lots of razors that hold very high positions of esteem and I think the world of....But this ER'24 has to be my choice for my Highlander (there can be only one!) razor...It just took the poll position by force...lol

I shaved last evening, so I didn't have a lot to shave this morning. I still felt like I needed a shave before church, though, because I had stubble. I had a relaxed, two-pass shave that is absolutely BBS! I love starting the day with a smooth face.

    Have a great day!
