    1. Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar
    2. Coffee: Locally roasted, fresh ground TN Blend w/ cream
    3. Lather: MWF + M-Bomb - face lather
    4. Brush: Simpson's Commodore X2
    5. Razor: Gillette Slim @ 9
    6. Blade: Feather (2); 3+ passes
    7. Post: Cold water rinse; Kiehl's Balm
Recovery shave from Speick & it was amazing. A little M-Bomb on the Fat was exhilarating & I decided to play with a DE for the first time in a LONG time. The Feather is super sharp & quite smooth for me with the Slim opened up to 9. There was some blood & a little burn as I'm not nearly as familiar with this razor as I am with my SEs. The Kiehl's cleared all that away & my face is feeling the best it has all week. I may just have to use the Slim daily now until this blade dies. Can't wait to see how it goes.

Shave Rating - Splendid! God Bless!

The Sunday shave reminds me a joke: 'A sad guy talks from TV: "Attention! There are false Chinise ornaments for a Christmas tree appeares! They are right just the original - by look, sound, smell, taste and price, but attention! They brings no happiness at all!" '

    Merkur 23C/Green 7AM
    Vie-Long horsehair brush
    SOTQ B3 soap
    Mayor Energy Platinum AS splash

Smooth result with almost no enjoyment. Well, it happens! The good thing is that I bought 3 spare bottles of Mayor Energy Platinum splash, so menthol splash will keep going!

For sure! That's why it is a hobby, not just a hygiene process ;):)

    Sunday

    Merkur Futur
    Shark (5?)
    Omega Boar brush
    Col. Conk Lime
    Booster Mosswood A/S
    Polo EDT

Finally getting round to posting my morning shave. I was in a hurry and still somewhat sleepy, so I opted for the Futur rather than reaching for a straight. My reward? A BBS shave that was s close that now, 15 hours after the shave, I still have very little stubble on my face!

    Sunday Morning:

    Pre: Hot Water Splash
    Razor: Merkur 23c
    Blade: Polsilver
    Cream: European Palmolive
    Brush: Omega Boar
Post: Thayers WH, Cold Rinse, Proraso ASB

All my other shaves lately have been good, but this mornings was ten times better. I think it had a lot to do with the blade though. It may be the hype but you can't argue with results!
