Result: Got a new Vie-Long boar and wanted to try it out. Like most new boar brushes, there was that "new brush smell" (which sadly is a lot less nice than new car smell), so I gave it a basic cleaning and soaking, and figured that if there was one soap stronger than boar stink, it was Arko! Got a nice lather whipped up for a new brush and had a DFS, and the Arko really did overpower the boar stink!

tuesday morning shave

Today I tried something different. Thanks to BullGoose and his super human speedy shipping I was able to use my newly aquired shaving goodness.
I ordered some MWF, RazoRock xxx and RazoRock alum.
I tried the MWF this morning and WOW!!! I'm hooked. This stuff is wonderful!!!!!

Hot shower
Feather AS-D1 with a new Feather (black) blade
MWF soap (YEAH BABY YEAH)
RazoRock Alum (Very nice also! No need for those crumy little pencils any more )

DFS today I really enjoyed it. Tomorrow I will try the XXX

No photos this morning, sorry - but I had a very good and smooth shave. The Proraso Green soap and I became friends again after a long time of me not wanting to know from it. The new 7 AM glided over my stubble so easily.
