I have never adjusted any photo, Its just as it is.

 

GIMP is essentially a limited version of Photoshop, however it is free. I don't feel that using white balance/color adjustment is cheating considering monitors vary... I have seen some overly processed photo's though, and I wont name names haha...

The Duke put out a very nice shave, first since I gave him a new set of custom scales in Welsh Yew, not as smooth as the Feather AC - SS straight razor, but still good enough, a very nice shave gave my Wife the final say to run the rule over the smoothness and the low down on what I used and the set up, I enjoy that very much, She always appears rather pleased with my short shaving information I give her before I ask for her feedback.

 

Yeah I under stand that, I just dont understand using such software, by that i mean i have never used then, but kinda want to just that I spend enought time on the laptop as it is, Im all for stuff like that just a modern day dark room

This Culmak soap that I received yesterday is awesome - a very nice traditional and soapy scent with extremely rich lather which I find so easy to create. Today's shave was really enjoyable - all I needed were 2 passes to get BBS!

Great shave from the Bismarck. This is rapidly becoming my favorite straight razor (once I got used to it...it feels much different than my Dovo Best Quality, or any of my vintage straights)!

1. Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar; hand strop blade
2. Coffee: Locally roasted, fresh ground Costa Rican w/ cream
3. Lather: Speick cream - face lather
4. Brush: Vulfix 2234
5. Razor: Gem OCMM
6. Blade: Pella SS PTFE coated (6); 2 passes
7. Post: Cold water rinse; Kiehl's Balm

Same setup as yesterday with the exception of the brush. Really starting to get a slicker surface from this cream which I'm very happy about. 4 shaves now on this cream in a row. I can't wait to see how long it lasts!

A superior DFS tonight. It was a rough day at work so I needed the treat!. Col Conk is not one of my best soaps....but I love the scent, and with proper prep ....it performs admirably.
