SOTD: Lazy weekend shave using this jumbo William Greaves & Sons 'For Barbers Use' 9/8" wide slab o' steel; Mitchell's Wool Fat; Lijun 30mm silvertip brush, and TSD's 'Iced Jasmine' aftershave splash. Quite a change-up from a standard 5/8" blade width, extremely sharp and heavy. Quality shave. Have a great Saturday, all!

The Treet carbon blade works very well in this razor. Two passes with a bit of touch up for a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

I received my brush from @Jayaruh on Thursday but haven't had the time to post a picture. I was also able to get a Travel Tech from him, so I'm putting it through its paces as well! Also, I was curious if there was a shave shop near me, so I did a quick search, which led me to Wet Shaving Products. They were only a half hour away, so I made some time and picked up this Ol' Kentucky. I tell you, this soap lathered incredibly fast! Very pleased with it and the company. A good day!

 

I'm using the hyper-mentholated version of Sharp Dressed Man for my shave tomorrow!

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Old Spice Lime Cream face-lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom, Badger brush. I did the two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher and CVS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Snake Bite is bitter-cold, but great. No scent, although I don't care. It's the menthol freeze that I'm after. I'm sure you know that I call the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo the "hyper-mentholated Sharp Dressed Man!"
