I just had my third shave with a BIC Chrome Platinum. It was the BEST shave I have had yet! 3 weeks of DE shaving. So far, I like it better than Derby and Yellow Gillette. It is only my first BIC I have used though. Not sure why I like them and they get some bad reviews?

 

You're not alone. BICs work well for me, also.

 

I can shave with them but every time I do I have a bad shave. Its a blade thing I guess. Trickiest part of the shave. Feathers kill me too but I'm taking one for a spin tomorrow in the HD. I have a few more BICs and I'll try them eventually, I just need to get different razors to try them in. I may try one in the HD next blade depending on how rough of a go I have with the Feather.
