Thank you. I’m as happy as I can be with a boar brush.

    Here's my Tuesday SOTD:

    Nivea Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Derby day 3
    Wriggly Tin Vanilla Patchouli SS
    Fino ASB
    Quorum EdT

It's a good thing I have this Super Speed because another razor would have left me with cuts everywhere. I had to rush this shave and I hate doing that. I very much enjoyed this Wriggly Tin soap and the Fino balm so it wasn't a total loss after all. I'd rate this shave a DFS, but just barely.

I'm happy to have joined you as a Razorock owner-but you'll always be the "Plissoft Man". Nivea has a "COOL" Men's Bodywash, but I haven't seen it around late. Dial's "Sub Zero" has to suffice for now, and it's a good backup.

I like my boars too. I just had a bad experience with the Thäter.

    Razor: Merkur 34c
    Blade: Merkur platinum (2)
    Lather: Cremo Shave Cream
    AS: Mennen afta/Original Old Spice

Will I ever learn...... I can`t shave without a pivot head !! A 2 pass, WTG/ATG with more than a few cuts and weepers. Styptic pencil to the rescue ! The actual outcome isn`t that bad, but only a decent shave. I love the old style wet shaving that the urge is stronger than my will power, please have mercy on me. I`ll get over it, but down the road, what? God Bless one and all with a great shave.

All right, there's an Unscented Stoylin A.S....that might be worth trying sometime....you get the classic Stoylin feel, and it can work with any soap out there.

THANK YOU!! I was waiting for that, wondering who would come up with it. I might have known it would be you. Most observant. Go with God.

It’s an aloe & witch hazel blend, with or without menthol. It’s really good stuff.
