Used the frozen scuttle again today with the Lemony Orange chilled in the freezer over night. Another great cooling shave with the Eclipse in the humid Florida weather.

 

The only reason the WTP Orange is cool is because I am lathering in a frozen scuttle. It gives the lather a chill that feels nice. No menthol. I never tried this before because I only use the travel scuttle when traveling. I would not freeze my normal scuttle. Also at home, the freezer is downstairs and I don't mess with the fridge. I'm not sure there is even any room in our fridge! The Lemony Orange AS stayed as a liquid without freezing solid because of the high alcohol, so no chunks. It was cool for sure, but warmed up rather fast when I was in the shower and then running hot water to create my lather. It did not add much but but it did enhance the coolness a tad.

A very nice shave but the blade is on the wane, don't think I'll risk it again.

*The last time I tried the Lime Burst Soap, I used the Avon 4 Men A.S. Wasn't comfortable enough. Skin-Bracer should work better with it. Besides, I decided to put away the Gillette Cool Wave-perhaps until the fall. Need something cooler in this humidity.
