Splash it on the face and head if your going to lather the old gord too.
Also nice to come home from work and splash it on after a quick wash.
I just use the cheap walmart brand.

I never us it as an aftershave, it will burn.:shocked003:

    Thanks to all...
You'er all nuts, in a great way.

Sounds like a great shave Jeff. You know, I haven't broke out my SS in probably over a year and a half. Today, like you, I also used it with an Astra and it reminded me what a great shaver it really is. Just a fantastic smooth shave. It kind of got lost in the shuffle and I was glad I used it. Have a good day my friend.

Thank you Celestino. Usually going to Disney is a frantic experience, but this time we took the laid back approach and I think it was more fun and no stress. The main thing was to just see the new attractions and relax. Mission accomplished and work did not get in the way much to boot. It was also great to see my family in NC on the way out. I had the opportunity to check out my mom's new place. She moved from NJ earlier in the year to be next to my sister in the warmer weather and enjoy retirement.

The speed limit was tough thing because the car really has a tendency to go fast without noticing so I used a lot of cruise control! I am just too afraid in this ride to speed in unknown areas and sticking out like a sore thumb in red. I feel like a giant target on the road. With the high cost of Disney, a son in college that I was just hit with a tuition bill, my other son having a bit of trouble and having to take summer school classes (another bill), and a new car, I told the gang no money for 5 plane tickets this year. I don't think it sunk in with my boys until we piled in the car, but hopefully they got a better appreciation of the value of the dollar! Nevertheless, it was a great time. I just felt extra bad for my daughter because she was stuck in the middle of the rear seat, and although there is room, both of my boys are over 6 foot and there was not much.

One of the stops in Georgia was actually a police station and I had an escort as I pulled in keeping me on my toes

Tonight's shave was with an Old Wedge. I had a fantastic 2 pass shave, without touch-ups, that left me BBS. This is a fine heavy, and smooth shaving razor.

Razor- George Wostenholm & Sons. "Pipe Razor". Heavy wedge.
Brush- JR# 262. Birdseye Maple/Ebony. Whipped Dog Silvertip Badger.
    Soap- Arko/Sandalwood scented
    Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice.

Razor - Type E3 Schick Injector
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Soap - Stirling Iced Pineapple
Brush - Stirling Pro Handle Synthetic
    Post - Alum

Final shave for July 2018. I almost hate to see this month end but.....August is upon us and it should be great as well. Finishing up with the E3 Injector. See how quickly I show off my new knowledge? And how do I know it's an E3? Because you guys told me. I'll figure it out on my own in a bit. Why get smart if you can just get smart friends?

Soap for the night is Stirling Iced Pineapple. This will definitely, unequivocally, positively and absolutely be my next full tub purchase from them. Unless Iced Coffee comes available before I order. Then they'll both be shipped together.

Three passes and all is fantastic except for a small weeper on my right cheek. Not sure how I did that but it stopped with alum so all's well. Not gonna let a little thing like that ruin a great shave. Besides, if there isn't a little blood once in awhile I'm not sure I'm still shaving.

It's been in the 70's here the past few days. Hard to believe for those who were here a few weeks ago. But - mid 80s and back to the 90s by the weekend. Here comes August!
