Thank you Mark. My wife brought the soap and bowl back from her trip to Australia.

 

The Lupo is my six Razorock razor and the best one that I have used to date.;(V1&V3 slant, baby smooth, Blackhawk, MJ-90 A & B plate and now Lupo). Two pass BBS shave with Nacet blade and no touchups. Really light so had to apply a little pressure so going to compare shaves with the titanium bamboo handle added weight. Well worth the $30 I paid for it. But like everything else in our little hobby, YMMV. Lot of people loved the slant and stated best slant they have used but for me, it was dead last of the 7 slants that I own\ed.

 

That handle was bought on ebay from Tibam_handle. He is a Russian artisan. I bought 3 handles and matching stands. They are titanium [light though] .Pretty happy with them. Must admit I like steel and brass better.

I lived an intense, busy and, sometimes, hectic life.
This prevented me from going to smell Norwegian harbors, something a discerning gentleman should do.
Evidently either i am not discerning or not a gentleman: I must accept it and give it a reason!

The fragrance of this cream is pleasant but I imagine a Norwegian soap scent to be different! Of course, it does not have to smell like stockfish, but Fitjar makes Mediterranean scents!
Texture (cream and AS) is fantastic, and shave was great.

I went back on a Track II blade as I have received a beautidul handle, in stainless steel, heavy and sturdy.

And I enjoyed this shave!

A Sandalwood Sunday. I seldom use the SBS as I still find it difficult to get my head round a CC and an OC on the same head. The base plate was set for the more aggressive option and I had a real cracker of a shave today.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The CTAPT Shaving Cream face lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. I did two passes with the Henckels Rapide razor with a Vintage Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
