Third and final shave for Matthew and the Rapira. It's "That'll Do Thursday" and I went with Stirling Island Man. This is a soap Rod @ezlovan only makes for the Summertime, so I figured July works! I also got a sample of this scent in the bath soap in my recent box so I was thinking of it. Quite an enjoyable scent and it is Stirling so.......yep. Can't beat the lather. The original 30DC LE brush had no issues with the Tuxedo knot in turning the soap into enough lather to wash the van twice since it's back on all four wheels again. It better be. It has a date at 5 a.m. in the morning to go to work.

All of my test results are back from the doctor and apparently I'm still breathing, have a heartbeat and blood to push through it. Still have way too much fat in said blood and too much sugar too but we're working on that. I start a new med tomorrow that we hope will solve the sugar problem. I mean, I know I'm a sweet guy and all, but apparently I need to lose some of that. Anyway, hope you have a great Friday and a fantastic start to your weekend!

A pleasant and quick shave, but without the charm of a DE, the allurement of my early years, when I watched my father shaving...

Going with a bath and hot lather. I was initially just going to skip a shave and just do a simple fragrance, but then the bay rum bug bit my nose tonight. It was a close call between Catie's Bubbles Barnegat Bay and PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum.......but the Atomic won 'barely'. The deciding factor was the matching bath soap. There still is an off-chance I might change my mind but I doubt it.

Last shave of the blade today. (I try to keep to one razor per blade tbh)
Lovely shave. Dialed down the BBS on my neck today and went with a DFS.

Lovely Soap. Subtle scent and a nice Glycerine shave.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face lathered well with The Brush by Tom. I did two passes with the Gillette Techmatic razor with a Techmatic Adjustable razor band and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Just a quick two pass shave which turned out to be BBS, surprisingly enough. The Wilkinson blade suddenly became quite a bit duller and I noticed it when I was on the second pass. The Lider Classic cream is from Poland and it has a very nice lemony type of scent, it’s a very good latherer, and it’s got a comfortable postshave feeling. The Fino balm felt so soothing as well as moisturizing and the Groom aftershave is alcohol based but it has no sting, and it smells very nice.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Stirling Agar today. 20 seconds to load the Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Agar aftershave.
