My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face lathered well with The Brush by Tom. I did two passes with the H. Böker 5/8 razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I needed a good, strong mentholated shave this morning because it’s going to be as hot as hell today with a temperature of 32C and a humidity index of 40C. I enjoyed the lovely coffee/peppermint scent as well as the rich, thick yogurty lather and the menthol sensation which started off on a moderate note, but got progressively stronger. The Prep felt so wonderful afterwards and the Krampert’s Frostbite hit me hard with its own menthol magic. I was enjoying the lather and everything else about this soap so much that I did three passes and I got a cracker of a BBS shave!

Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest today. 20 seconds to load the Honey Farm Designs/TGN Premium Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Executive Man aftershave.
