PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Rabid Banana Preshave Cube
BRUSH: Alpha Shaving T-400 w/ 26mm Boar Knot
SOAP: Tabac w/ 6 drops of M-Bomb
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Osage Rub and Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.

Well, it wasn't the best of shaves, but it wasn't the worst.

0:25 to load the Central Texas Soaps Down At The River onto the Stoylin li'l brudder. Brush looked good and ready to go to work. On the first pass, I got the left side of the face fine, but struggled some on the right. I kept missing areas. Maybe I didn't put enough soap there, so I did a quick reload, just to get those areas. That was a LITTLE better. Unecessary, but it has to be done to get that good shave. One nick around the chin. 2nd pass much better. No nicks or cuts. As Mr. Cawtuh likes to say, I went to the "bullpen" for my second pass. Aqua Velva to finish. Due to the sloppiness of the first pass at the right side of the face, I'll say Pretty Excellent overall.

Razor: Gillette New Long open comb Canadian variant- Mfg 1930's- upper mid range+ excellent razor.
Blade: Gillette 7oClock (black) super platinum (5) one of my favorites.
Soap: Razorock Lavender- great lather qualities & manly scent that has been discontinued !
Brush: Razorock Noir 400 24mm synthetic - great lathering brush, closest to a broke in boar brush without scritch.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBs + minor irritation + 1 weeper= Excellent shave with my Gillette New long comb 1930's Canadian variant.
