Good day lads! The S.S. here. Not much change in the weather, still hot, and extremely humid. Soooooo,

Soap/cream - Masters Vanishing Menthol
Brush - Yaqi Barber Pole in best.
Razor - RazoRock SLOC on a Bulldog handle
Blade - Derby Extra
Witch hazel - T.N. Dickinson (as always)
A.S. - Gabels Bay Rum

The Masters always works in the heat. The Yaqi brush is a pretty big knot, so it’s good for holding enough soap
for a multi pass shave. The SLOC is fast becoming my favorite razor. It’s just so smooth. No nicks, no cuts, nothing.
Personally, I like a ‘milder’ blade in the SLOC. The Derby’s work nice. If you read my threads, you’ll know I felt
the Gabel’s Bay Rum was ‘sticky’. I’ve got some Grand Bay on order, but I decided to use up the Gabels.
So, I put it on after I shaved, after I got home from work, before I went to bed, before work today, and after
I got home from work and showered today! It’s a big bottle.

The Palmolive Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #30 silvertip brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Stahly razor head with an Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today I am pairing the Stahly with a handle I made using walnut and a .45 caliber casing.

I received this Tally-Ho set this week and picked up the gold Slim yesterday so I gave everything a run this morning.

I'm assuming the soap is original to the set but the puck had no visible imprint and it's too big to go all the way down into the mug so I'm not really sure. No room to lather in the mug so I mostly face lathered. No scent to the soap but a nice usable average lather.

I've got a couple of Slims already and I've given a few away but this is the first gold one I found. It cleaned up really well and it performed beautifully.
