Good evening lads! Finally got a respite from the humidity! Had a serious case of heat rash! Nice and cool the last
couple of days. So a nice drying shower and shave are definitely in order.
    Soap- Clubman Country Club shampoo
    Conditioner- Eau de Portugal
    Deo- Clubman spray deo
    PSO- Clubman PSO
    Soap/cream- Clubman shave soap
Brush- Yaqi Barber Pole in 2band badger
    Bowl/scuttle- Georgetown Pottery G20
Razor- RazoRock SLOC with Bulldog handle
    Blade- Derby Premium
    Witch hazel- T.N.Dickinson’s (as always)
    Aftershave- Clubman Lilac Vegatal

Not to be redundant, but do you sense a pattern? It’s just, the Clubman products are so perfect in high humidity.
Always leaves you soft, dry, and powdery, always appreciated in humid weather. I can’t stress enough the total
smoothness of the SLOC. I couldn’t cut myself if I tried. I don’t even go slow, I’m flying! Still no nicks, cuts, nothing.
The people at Georgetown Pottery do it right. Don’t bother with something else, they nailed it.
The Yaqi is a decent size knot, perfect for a multi pass BBS shave. Between the Yaqi, and the G20, 3 full face lathers
a fourth for the ‘stache area, and touch/pick ups, all nice, hot lather. Any of you who are familiar with my threads
know I utilize Bay Rum in the summer. Sometimes, like today, you get the perfect weather, not too hot, not real
humid, nice little breeze, you can smell the flowers and vegetation. On days like this, I like ‘The Veg’.
The ‘green’ note of the Veg interacts with the chlorophyll scent in the air, which in turn, carries the Lilac scent.
It’s a glorious, Dionysian celebration of life. “I love it. God help me, I do love it so”
After my shave, I went to a freind’s studio, and listened to his new song. Not bad. Then, dropped off a couple
of basses at another guy’s house for some work. Came home, had some pasta and wine, now, I’m enjoying some
Grand Marnier with a G.M. infused cigar, aged in my humidor. Go and do likewise gents, life is good.

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower / Sanex Men ~ Sensitive Soap Free Shower Body & Face Gel.

    Pre:

Cold wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap Bar / Nuage Menthol Shaving Oil.

    Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.

    Bowl Lather.

    Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.

Frankenlather : Arko Sensitive + Geo F. Trumper Violet Shaving Cream.

    Blade: Mers ~ SuperShave X Platinum. (2)

    Razor: Ming Shi 3000s. ~ (Settings) 7-wtg, 8-xtg, 9-atg+pick ups.

    Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade lavender eucalyptus,+Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Blue Stratos ASL.

Creightons ~ Sensitive Post Shave Balm.

    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

The Ming shi 3000s is such a mild razor, which for me personally isn't a bad thing as i don't need an aggressive razor each time i shave...What i like about the 3000s is i can buff over my problem areas without causing any irritation to my skin.

I personally think if you find something that works for you then stick with it no matter how much or little it costs, if it gives you good shaving results then that's all you need. Enough said.

Another very comfortable 2 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy you Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

    Sunday Schick shave,Aug 2nd 2020

Razor: Schick i2 type, Hydro Magic- Mfg 1954-57- very nice milder mid range for those days you just would like a DFS.
Blade: Personna injector: Very sharp and gets better for smoothness as you get up in # of shaves IMO.
Soap: Barrister & Mann Seville- nice summer scent with great lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Tuxedo knot 24 mm synthetic Sagrada Familia- Excellent brush for creating lather with soft tips.
Pre-shave: Brush wash the whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
    Post shave:
Razorock American barber with witch hazel + A tiny dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= [IMG] Great shave with my i2 Schick injector today.
