Here's how I opened the month:

    prep-Dial 4 Men Bodywash(Infinite Fresh)in leukecool shower
    shave-Stoylin Glacial Electric Sheep
    brush-Stoylin 26mm Pro-Handle synth.
razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot + DisposeABLE
    A.S.-Vetiver de Guerlain
    Fragrance-Pete("Pierre")Cardin cologne.

0:50 to load the Stoylin soap onto the Stoylin brush. Good work spreading the Shavesoap across the face and neck. No Knicks/cuts anywhere, but to be sure I got that positive result, I had to do extra work around and over NW Porcupine Alley. Like going in slow motion over that area. Fine work along the chin&jawline, ice-chippping my way across the borderline of Porcupine Alley and Cactus Nation. Solid job down at Cactus. Then the problem happened-in pouring out the Vetiver into my hand, it was Niagra Falls again. I believe @Primotenore warned me about that happening with Vetiver. Did I heed the gentleman's advice? See below for answer. I did end up controlling the mess. Once all calmed down, it felt pretty good. But I definitely got too much out. Super Duper Excellent.

    not today.

I'm glad the issue of the July 30DC has been brought to our attention. It's up to The Motorbike Man From Kentucky again, eh?

Thanks Joe...it was very well done. I am most thankful that the Vetiver has settled down onto my face and neck, rather than be STICKY.

    Good morning guys!

    Shavette shave #279
    Dovo shavette
    Personna Hairshaper Blade (7)
    Semogue OC Super Badger Brush
    Stirling Satsuma SS and AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's WH
    Whiskers: 23 hrs

    20210701_093710.jpg

The Semogue whipped up a slick lather. Satsuma has a wonderful mandarin scent that is really marvelous. Did 2 passes with minor touchups for a near BBS shave. No cuts and no irritation occurred. I had very little stinging from the alum. Applied the witch hazel and the Satsuma aftershave to finish this nice shave. Have a terrific day gentlemen!

Old Type-Perfector/BIc. French Perfector plate was marketed to increase efficiency of the Old Types. Stock head did a great job, swapping plate to Perfector for clean up pass on my head did the job at some sacrifice in smoothness. Extremely close shave overall.[IMG]
