PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Custom Blue Resin Handled Manchurian Badger
SOAP : Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with HumphreysLilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Balm.

Thanks Tim. Honestly the Empire design is my favorite as well, but I think they are harder to find. I found this Rose one, liked the teeth, and the price was right. I just don't get it out enough, but I do enjoy using it. Yours is restored beautifully. Probably the nicest I've seen.

For me, I was excited to use 1803. Previously I only had a sample of the soap but loved the scent. Dr. Jons discontinued it and it was hard to find. I finally found a tin earlier this year and the aftershave last year.

 

Thank you Joseph. I really dig the old ornate designs of the ABC razors. A bit on the mild side, but an enjoyable shave.

Razorock Shave.
The scent on this soap draws me in similar to what the Veg does. Its not like lilac vegetal at all but there is something in here that is primal, similarly. Also the brush acted almost like, hey I know what to do with this lather and made a terrific one. And of course the Wizamet Iridium blade in the .84 GC produced a near perfect bbs shave.

no cloves, at least.....Joe Jones(or whatever the owner's name is)makes sure of that.

This AutoStrop is the second model and is silver. The Lucky Tiger AS is interesting, but I like Clubman better. From their website, the Lucky Tiger AS has Purified Water (Aqua), Polysorbate 20, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Distillate, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Borago Officinalis (Borage) Seed Oil, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Palmitate), Trisodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance (Citrus Essential Oils). I have never looked at the list before, but I could tell that it has some kind of oil in it. It is very different from any other AS I use.

Yup,
This week the sotd have been night shaves im still tender in some parts of my face after like 20 hours later. Im pretty sure i scraped off a layer of skin in some spots. Lol ill move on to another razor tonight.
