Razor : Valet Auto-strop C1 model, Canadian variant- Mfg 1920's, built during the roaring 1920's, great design for its time, I resurrected this razor because I wanted to try some repairs from the previous owner who was rough on this beautiful razor. The gap was changed from 11/1000 to 7/1000 gap of inch for a much smoother shave. Very easy razor to use once blade loaded IMO.
Blade : Gem modified SS PTFE(6) this blade still works in the Valet Auto-strop C 1 series razor with spline removed and sniped in corners of blade.
Soap : Razorock blue barber- nice mid range scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Panda 24mm tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator, nice scrub, cloud like soft tips + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Valet auto strop C1 with a Modified Gem blade

Good shave this morning

1930s Gillette Long Comb with Permasharp blade (2nd)

Washed face and bloomed the soap. The Proraso Blue cools the face. This bowl really makes nice lather easily. I had a nice 3-pass shave with minimal cleanup. WTG, ATG, XTG got me really smooth! Alum bar gave minimal feedback. I did go over a couple spots a few too many times. Maybe it's time to bin the blade after 2 shaves! The Thayers feels so nice and the Geo F Trumper is also very calming to the face. I really like these open comb razors!

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with Bunny B-400 Badger Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER V1 Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

How can I ignore my dear friend Mo’s great soaps? It’s been so long since I last used his Dark Lime soap and I enjoyed it so much this morning. The scent is so beautiful, it’s vegan based but the lather is awesome, and the skincare is so good. The CutiBase moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Booster Iced Lime aftershave smells great - not only that, it’s a Canadian barbershop classic. Two passes were enough for a great BBS shave!

Razor : Razorock 2nd gen Lupo.72- Mfg 2021> excellent mid range, design is excellent for blade clamping, made of 316 stainless steel + the results speak for it self how well the razor performs. Very close enjoyable shave this morning.
Blade : Personna red (2) sharp & smooth with excellent longevity, one of my best performing blades.
Soap : Speick stick, very nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities, one of my favorite triple milled soaps. A must have soap IMO.
Brush : Yaqi high mountain 24mm silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, nice scrub, pillow like soft tips + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavada with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with Razorock Lupo.72 with a Personna red blade. (Very enjoyable shave this morning with all my shave gear)
