Another fine shave with this near wedge. Generally near wedges are harder for me to work with - I guess they just demand better attention to technique - but this one is pretty much effortless to adjust to. It’s good looking, a fine razor, and without a doubt my best near wedge

Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave Sticks. (grated)

Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice ASL./Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

Greetings,

An enjoyable shave to finish my shaving week off on a high note.

Another week of comfortable acceptable shaves...The Gem Featherweight is a wonderful vintage shaving tool, and a pleasure to shave with.

Last out of the Personna Gem PTFE. The blade started to feel dull on the second pass, losing it's smoothness, but was still sufficient enough to finish my shave without any blood sport....I'm not complaining in the slightest, as six face shaves, and a head/dome shave from one blade is remarkably good...What more can i ask for?

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report... finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh kick ASB.

My face is feeling cool, smooth & smelling divine.

The De Vergulde Hand Shaving Soap lathered well with Bunny B-400 Badger Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER V1 Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Yaqi adjustable The Final Cut - MFG 2021> excellent adjustable, well designed after the 1930's Gibbs razor concept, feels good in hand, no blade tab over hang, 2pc razor and very easy to load blades IMO, well made Zamak head with brass handle + affordable & a joy to use IMO. Might be a good razor to learn with for some folks on lower settings IMO.
Blade : Personna red (3) sharp & smooth, excellent longevity. I consider these in my top 5 for performance and quality.
Soap : Speick, nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities. Triple milled soap.
Brush : Yaqi Orbital ring 24mm boar bristle hair, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle tips, nice scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Yaqi TFC settings WTG(3) + ATG(3) + pickups(3.5).
Post shave :Ach Brito AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi adjustable TFC with a Personna red blade.

Newly acquired, restored, and honed. I had a glass smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. This One took a very fine edge.
