The Musgo Real Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Cobra Classic Razor and a Feather Professional Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Iced Blue After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My 50s Super Speed might be covered under all kinds of patina and other discolouration but let me tell you that it works like a champ. As I said before it was sparkling clean and shiny when I received it as a birthday gift from my Dad, of dearly loved and cherished memory when I turned 14. Abir’s Blend 47 is a helluva great soap - it has a very nice eucalyptus scent, it’s vegan based like all of his soaps, it lathers wonderfully, there’s a pretty good dose of menthol, and it gives excellent skincare that the Prep really enhances. The Aqua Velva Ice Blue aftershave gave me an additional menthol kick, and there ain’t nothing like the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance. Three passes gave me a super duper easy peasy BBS shave that was fit for a king!

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur 50mm AC type with a Milano SSP handle- Mfg 2021>, tame mid range, simple clamping system, small head parts(work over a wash cloth helps a lot) I had a close carefree shave this morning with no issues.
Blade : Schick proline p30 (1), sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity. 1st use can feel tuggy sometimes and after that it smooths out nicely I have noticed over the years. Good match for this razor IMO.
Soap : Yaqi Green, nice fresh natural scent(Lacoste Green cologne similarity) with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Dandelion" 24mm Cashmere synthetic knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Nice handle to work the face.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave this morning with my Yaqi Excalibur with a Schick proline blade.
