Great shave. Not used the Vector for a long time so it has been quite unusual to shave with this slim head. Nevertheless, 2,5 joyful passes.

The Aftershave has a very dominant scent with a lot of power. Today i was in a mood for that.

A 9 out of 10

Wow, this Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave are two menthol atom bombs with the most beautiful lavender scent I’ve ever had. The soap’s tallow formula gives it such magnificent lather that has so much slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the skincare is perfect. The Thayer’s Lavender witch hazel has almost no scent but it’s so soothing, the Prep together with the Frosted Lavender aftershave completed the job in fine style and the Aramis is another fragrance that I love so much. Three passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that was such a frigid pleasure!

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Semogue Excelsior 1305 Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM G-bar Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Great shaves, All! I’m enjoying seeing your kits. Some familiar “faces” albeit with different names. I’m often inconsistent with posting sotd, so please bear with me as I settle in.

Dig the Y4 @britWhenever I want an autopilot razor, it’s one of my go to faves. It’s also my top #1 choice when I feel like shimming a blade.

It was a difficult choice, but I finally went with the 3017 on the triple milled Snake Bite over a Williams Wednesday. There’ll be plenty of those in the fall and winter, I’m sure. Another interesting feature of today’s shave was the third go around with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword courtesy of my friend @Chappy_Stan. It was actually quite smooth and effective. Very impressive! I may try to go for a fourth time out with it. Maybe not. I don’t remember the last time I pushed a blade to four shaves, I just remember it wasn’t a great shave. Today’s shave otoh was a 10/10.
