3 passes, bbs. My hand allowed me to strop the razor some this evening, which helped a great deal. However in the middle of the shave the hand started giving out on me, and I wound up with one small nick, nothing the alum wouldn't take care of. Overall this was a good shave.

 

I finally used the DE that Michael gifted me, WOW, is all I can say, I really like it! I am hooked. Now, to figure out what blade works best for me!
