A pretty cooling set-up for this special day - perhaps not as frigid as I normally opt for, but still cold enough. The Arko Ice Mint cream has a gorgeous tropical/sporty scent with awesome lather, and its menthol power is stronger than a lot of other creams and soaps, and the Anherb conditioner is a great face-freezer which also moisturizes and soothes. I always enjoyed the Floid Classic aftershave.

no alum needed,
but a hint of Myrsol's Agua de Limón After Shave.

Fine shave this morning. The Torrey's edge is just superb. The soap container is a "House for Men" that I picked up a few years ago in an antique store with some soap left in it. The soap was pretty good but scentless. The vintage Old Spice has just a hint of it's original scent. Have a good one.

The Shark shaved close enough on Sunday that a 3rd pass today appeared superfluous, which I'll call a good thing. No irritation, no nicks, no weepers makes for another pile of good things. DFS+ shave overall.

Really enjoyed the Mem...Lathered very well, decently slick, great mild scent. Overall a great and inexpensive cream! The Gillette 7 O'clock Yellow didn't quite make the cut for me. This was my first try with them and they are probably about 4th on my list so far. They weren't terrible though, fairly sharp and smooth until I went ATG on upper lip. Have a great Monday all!

An early start this morning as I have to take my Wife to the Hospital for surgery. She fell Sunday morning and broke her leg and it requires surgery on the knee. Yesterday was spent in the emergency room and she should have the surgery today. (Waiting for the notification of when this will happen.) At least I'll be the most well shaven Gent in the waiting room. lol

Father, I pray for Bruce's wife, that all will go "textbook" with the surgery. I pray there will be no complications and by Your power she will recover quickly, for her blessing and Your glory. In Jesus' name. Amen.

 

Hope she has a successful, quick procedure and a recovery that's as quick and painless as possible, Bruce.

Thanks Jasman, she is a trooper but it's a pretty nasty operation so she will be layed up for awhile I'm sure.
