    Hi Friends,

    Sunday shave is here:

Razor: Mongoose w. Maggard Handle / Blade: Feather Pro Guard / Soap: Cold River Soap Works Fall Limited Edition / Brush: PAV Brushworks Beasty / AS: Pitralon Original

Very nice shave. I bought the Aftershave yesterday. Scentwise it is not that far away from the CH Pitralon, but it's a little bit "fresher". It's raining here in Germany and for summer it's very fresh, so i thought of using the "Fall" scent. Great soap!!!

Have a great time, enjoy your shaves and take care.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Prep - Hot towel
    Pre shave - Prep
    Razor – ‘The Rock’ (Rockwell 6S – #3)
    Blade – Gillette Silver Blue
Brush - 'Papa Chub' (Chubby 3 Manchurian)
    Soap – Mike's Natural
Post - Cold water rinse / Chatillon Lux: Bon Vivant Post Shave Toner

‘The Rock’/GSB gave a sublime performance with Mike's Natural, the 1st soap that opened my eyes to the fact that not all soaps are equal... LOVE IT!

The Frozen Tundra soap lathered like a champ for me and gave me a great freeze with terrific post-shave care. I love its scent so much - it's a blend of peppermint, wintergreen, and earthy notes. The Lucky Tiger balm soothed and cooled my face even more, and the Alcolado Glacial splash felt frigid and awesome. The Astra blade is pretty well ready for the trashcan but it still gave me a good three pass BBS shave!

    A wonderful Sunday to all!

Hot water wash with Nivea men's face wash and a washcloth
    Hoffritz pure badger brush
    Route 66 Bourbon Jungle
Grand Shave King self lubricating razor
    Rockwell razors Swedish stainless steel
    Iced pinaud vanilla clubman
Today's shave was nice. The lather felt perfect, R66 is sooo creamy add rich. Three passes with the loud little self lubricator, it was quiet by the third pass. Finish with the iced vanilla clubman. Very nice shave.
Hope y'all did as well, or better. 20170730_100342_resized.jpg

I finished my 30 aftershave and SE focus. Although I enjoyed most of my SE razors I got the best weeks shave with the Mongoose B2. The aftershaves are harder to pick one over the other, but here was my top 5 final list. Most liked left to right.

Thanks Mr. Spencer, Scott is a artisan that does brushes, bowls and handles. He does these in low numbers, check out facebook "colorado razor designs". The handle has serious heft and is ergonomic... Now the knot is a maggard tuxedo knot, this is my 1st tuxedo synthetic knot --- still need to use it more before I can review it, Very very different than the other synths that are everywhere
