More pics of my OS mug. I scored it off the 'bay with a full bottle of vintage OS for $15. I have other OS mugs, but this one is my fav by far. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438223387.515584.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438223399.118243.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438223411.674863.jpg

    30 Day Rule - July 2015
    July 29th
    Razor - Feather SS AC
    Blade - [IMG](3)
    Brush - Omega 10066 (BoS)
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post - Cold Water splash, Alum, Nivea

Three days left in the month and I'm going to finish them with this setup and accept the best result I get. No extra clean up with the DE for these three days. I figure if it isn't perfect my natural good looks and personality will overcome any roughness left by the shave for a few days at least. Well, as long as I'm not horribly scarred and bleeding by the time they're done. We all know that is a possibility with this razor. Shoot, it's a possibility for me at random depending on the stupid ideas I get for setups and trials anyway.

I rushed the lather a bit this morning I think, either that or didn't have the brush dry enough. Struggled a bit but ended with a workable lather. The Fat can be a bit finicky but with the BoS it is fairly easy to get it good enough to work with even with a mistake. First pass was good with one minor weeper that showed up as I applied the second lather. That was near my goatee line which is a common area for me to nick with an Artist Club razor. XTG was nice but a bit uneven as I switched grip on the left side. I started to touch up prior to relathering but came to my senses. Third lather and ATG plus some XTG touch up of my neck and left face and I had an overall near DFS. As I said, I'm accepting that as good enough and moving on. Those cars aren't going to sell themselves. Cold water, a nice burning alum proved I spent more time than normal and had a few angle issues but the Nivea cooled it back down. Back to the Veg for the body splash today. Two days left and July is in the books!!

A darn good shave from the SuperMax Blue blade on its 2nd day. Tons of ice-cold lather from the Frost_byte soap and the Rubby Dubby Doo added its own special freezing power!

    today's shave
hot water wash with nivea men's and a washcloth
Olive wood/ custom two band finest
    Truefitt& Hill ultimate comfort
j.a. Henckels #81 4/8 full hollow "the spotted emperor"
    ICED atomized Florida water
today's shave was nice. the t&h always a luxury. gary's olive wood creation did a marvelous job of creating and applying. the emperor seemed very easy to use today, sharp and nimble. three passes left me smooth and clean. a useless pass with yesterday's Matador confirmed.( I'm gonna drop the last pass next straight shave). finished with iced atomized Florida water.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

    Thor's Day:

Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm
    Brush: Simpsons 56 Best Badger
    Lather: RazoRock Cumba Cheech croap
    Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC
    Blade: Bic (4)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, (9, 10)
Post: Cold water splash, Dickinson's WH, Myrsol Metilsol AS splash
Cologne: Gigember Estragone by Dr. Vranjes

Even with the bloom water preshave rinse and gorgeous lather from the bottom of the jar of Cumba Cheech, the Bic is starting to show some wear and tear. I had a little more tugging than I anticipated on both passes this AM, though, admittedly, there was no bloodshed or residual irritation. I was apparently paying enough attention this time, as I intended to use the Metilsol - with the alum included - and so remembered not to use the Bloc Osma alum block as well. DFS results, all told, with my skin feeling really nice from the Metilsol/Cumba Cheech combination.
