    SATURDAY
    Late Morning Shave

A late start on a busy day today! A 3-pass shave with the Griffon & MdC left me silky-smooth and ready for the the big church event later today/tonight.
Off to work now and should return back home around midnight…
    Have a wonderful Saturday, all!!

Evening shave today, I was way too busy until now to do it.

Went for a Trumpers Sandalwood shave today so
Pre shave - Trumpers skin food
    Soap - Trumpers Sandalwood Soap
    Brush - Semogue 1438
    Razor - R41
    Blade - Feather (day 3)
Aftershave - Trumpers Sandalwood skin food.

Another close shave. Trumpers Sandalwood is one of my favourite smelling soaps, great smell :)

    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower + homemade PSO

Soap/cream- Stirling Vanilla sandalwood shave soap

    Brush- Plisson synthetic

    Razor- Mühle R89

    Blade- Astra SP(2)

Post- Cold water rinse and Nivea ASB

Evening shave today. It has been a while since I tried any if my Stirling samples. As usual the soap provided a great lather and the scent.... I love sandalwood and with vanilla it's just divine. Thanks again @RaZorBurn123

Stil having trouble with the chin, I can't get it smooth without getting some irritation. Plus missed a spot on my neck.

a really good "feel good" shave. The scent of Marlborough shave soap is eerily nostalgic, though I only had my first sniff of it a mere 3 or 4 months ago. It bowl lathered beautifully with the Truefitt & Hill (read: Rooney)1/2 Ebony and silvertip and slid smoothly off using one of my Gillette Fat Handled Chrome Techs and a Schick Krona Super Stainless blade. 70's night, so I finished up with some Jovan Musk cologne.....satisfaction, came in a chain reaction.

    Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion
Razor: EJ DE89 Head w/ Weber Classic Handle
    Blade: Voskhod (1)
    Lather: Stirling MITA
    Brush: Oscar11 w/ Omega 20248 Knot
    Post: Witch Hazel, Cetaphil Lotion
    Aftershave: Brut

My face does not like menthol, but sometimes I just have to use is. The menthol in MITA left my face cool, but angry. It calmed down after a few minutes, though, and I was left with a wonderful shave.

    Have a great day!

    Dove Men's Face Wash
    TABAC Shaving Soap
    Frank Shaving Finest Badger
    Gillette Super Speed '47
    DORCO Platinum ST300
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Pinaud Clubman

The TABAC Shaving Soap face-lathered very easily with my Frank Shaving Finest badger brush. Two passes with my Gillette Super Speed '47 and a DORCO Platinum ST300 gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a warm water rinse, alum block, and cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Prep - Aveeno Mens Active Naturals Face Wash
    Lather - Craftsman
    Razor - Frankenweber
    Blade - Personna Red
    Post - Aqua Velva

I got so use to The Fat that I forgot how much water CSS needs. Could have been a little smoother shave but there is always tomorrow. I am thinking however that my Weber will my 2 day razor and the tech my Daily Driver. Or maybe I need to make a better lather next time .

CSS is something wonderful. It has such a great protective quality. I met with Ralph today and I told him how great I thought it was and that I'm glad he carries it. I NEED to buy a bar.... I just have so much stuff to weed through. :p

True, I just think it is a thirsty soap, compared to The Fat. I still miss my PdP though. :(

You don't often hear/see folks say "this soap is thirsty, compared to The Fat," considering MWF's reputation as a soap you need to hydrate before using.

I do not soak The Fat. I find it lathers easier if I do not soak it. I coat the top of it just enough.

I did not have a big issue at first but I have not used it in quite sometime. I just need to get back in the groove.

Omega Pure badger brush (PIF from @Bobcat)
Gillette tech w. a Gillette silver blue blade

Another great shave. I have been face lathering lately and man I am getting some really thick lathers. Love the RazoRock.
    Great day all.

Clearly, another case of YMMV. In case it wasn't clear - this being the internet - I wasn't criticizing in any way.
