Fresh Rockwell/Israeli Personna felt awful in the R41, really tuggy. I gave it one pass and swapped it into the Mastiff-Jaws head where it felt better (but not great). Not really a fan of these blades. Job done anyway. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

My goodness, what a difference in the weather here from Fort Lauderdale. It's not even 60 degrees and yesterday at this time, it was already 85 over there!!! Anyway my shave was most enjoyable from the Black Ice soap. That anise scent is a favorite of mine, the lather was perfect, and the menthol sensation, while nowhere even close to what the Glacial Obsidian would give was still pretty darn strong. The Lucky Tiger balm felt wonderful and the Black Powder aftershave has such a beautiful scent with a good menthol punch. Three passes did the job in fine style! Happy 4th of July once again!
•Chinese/Dollar Tree "4Ward" four blade disposable (shave #2) •Cremo with menthol Two days since I shaved. Weather had me wake up feeling itchy, grubby and greasy all at the same time, especially on the neck. Can't stand that sensation. This razor gave me a 1 pass BBS. Yes, that's right. 2nd shave was improved over the first. The slimy aloe strip on this razor and mostly blade buffing helped a lot. Ended up with zero irritation or issues. There's lots of good, inexpensive, even fun to try options out there. And you know, I can't recall getting a genuinely BAD shave from any of the multiblade disposables or carts that flood the market today, except for the Guard (which was serviceable but not very pleasant). •A/S: mix of Brut and Skin Bracer spiked with extra menthol. Now I feel like a million bucks.

This is a truly All-American shave. The pre shave butter was made in St. Louis , the soap and splash in Cooperstown , inspired by a very British novel, the brush handle in Grand Rapids , I don't know where the knot was made, but I got it from a Canadian . The razor was made in , and the blade was made in Sweden . The filter I used on the photo is inspired by a famous Japanese style of painting. This is an example of how people and things from all over make up America today. Have a Happy Independence Day!
