Today is not supposed to be as hot as yesterday, but I was in the Proraso mood, anyway. This morning's shave was wonderful--cool, close, smooth, and refreshing. There is nothing better than a nice shave to start the day!

Ever since Greg posted pictured of the "Modern" several months ago I have had my eye on one. They arrived yesterday and I finally had a chance to take one for a spin. The shave seems fairly mild (like the Feather) yet it left my face smooth in three passes without a hint of irritation. The razor is head heavy and the grip comfortable which makes it very easy to just let the razor do its work. I enjoyed an excellent shave and the T&H 1805 was the cherry on the Sundae.

40's style Super Speed/Voskhod Blade/Tabac/Vie Long Horsehair/an assortment of English Leather​

Day three of the Love Fest continues. The 40 style SS to me, is like the girlfriend that you only visit after a night drinking with the boys. She's there, she's fun, but you definitely don't want to see her everyday. The creamy Tabac helped this old girl deliver a DFS that was just a bit rough around the edges. The vintage English Leather lotion, AS, and cologne made everything better.

Great Shaves today, Gentlemen.​

 

The picture is deceptive . Though I do not have the HD for a direct comparison, but the handle has the same size like my new twopart 15c OC. Btw. Thanks for quoting!

  Today was touch up day. Just lather up and 1 pass & rinse. No alum this time. New Brush worked that cream up very nice. My friend Huck1680 handmade the handle, I set the knot. He's a great Craftsman!
  Private label stuff really smells good. I like that tobacco like scent. Today went better than yesterday. I may skip shaving tomorrow, may not:whacky098
