@Jayaruh . My first two attmpts were bad. I just made sure I set the number at a low-mid number and made sure my lather was slick. Since I am on the subject I have discovered that if you are using MWF take a little lather and rub it betwixt your fingers. Since doing that my lathers have been great. Not to mention I prefer to use a more damp brush as I find that helps with Mitchells.

 

That's cool. Back in the early 70s I used the Trim Comb. I have actually looked for these, but can't find them.

 

Hey! I just found one of these at my grandmom's I had no clue what it is. Schweet

 

Used to have one of those. They work, but at only the two cut depths. The Playtex is totally adjustable from about 1/2" to close enough you could almost shave with it.

Prep: Hot towel
Soap: Homemade cream I whipped up out of Coconut oil, Shea butter, Aloe Vera, Dr Bronner's soap, and green clay
Brush: Uknown boars hair
Razor: vintage GEM Micromatic and vintage Gillette Old Type Ball End
Blade: generic local store brand (the only ones I could find)
AS: Neutrogena Post Shave Lotion

Went into town and found some SE blades for the Micromatic. It didn't work so well to take of the 10 day goatee. Had to fall back on the Old Type but finished with the Micromatic. I tried making up some homemade cream. It was nice and slick and the Dr. Bronner's had a nice tingle to it. Not enough lather though.
