This blade is killing me with how it isn't killing me. Yesterday was a fluke, I used Arko shave stick and only did two passes and didn't reapply Arko on the 2nd pass, so it was thinner than normal.....had to be why I got nicked, but oh well, today was fine. I'm beginning to wonder if it is the 89? It has a totally different blade angle than any other razor I have and it may help the blade wear or something?

Anyway, day 11 and still comfortable. I don't think I'm going to beat the blade that wouldn't die, but I anticipate at least another shave out of it, but who knows. It's almost scary how you just don't know how far to push it. All these fine shaves are going to end with one lack-luster event. Oh well, all good things come to an end, I just don't know when that will be.

Found an older OC Hoffritz travel razor at a shop today after work. I got a decent shave and will probably use it when I need a mild shave, but it will not replace the Old type. Overall, a nice cool shave. Not overly close, but very comfortable.
