MM again, sad one. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families of this senseless atrocity. My shave was nice, even with my heart heavy. Finished with iced ice blue.
Hope y'all did as well, or better.

People say that Cryogen is among the coldest of the aftershaves....can you make a comparison beween that and another?

What a delightfully frigid shave I had from my Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap which lathered like a maniac, and so richly. As I've said before so many times - this soap is not cooling, it's a menthol atom bomb. The Sharp Dressed Man scent that it has is so beautiful and it lingers a little after you rinse your face. The Diana balm is also ice-cold and the Arctique has the most powerful menthol effect I ever experienced from an aftershave. I'm so much in love with my Plissoft synthetic brush, and the Junjie razor was a great buy for just two bucks and change! :happy088: :happy088:

Cryogen doesn't come with a warning. Arctique does.

Good morning! After my shave on Saturday with the I2 Hydromagic I was reminded what a sharp blade feels like and the Gillette Platinum is not that blade unfortunately. I had to constantly remind myself to check the angle and not to use pressure despite the tugging from the blade. Focusing on technique paved the way for a shave that could have turned bad. In the end I have a DFS and the alum was quite, technique saves the day! Have a great day friends!

    Mild Menthol Monday
This was my first shave with a Tech I picked up at a flea market a few months ago. Talk about mild! I'm used to the Futur, so it was hard to remember no pressure with this light razor. I made three passes as usual, and my face is smooth and comfortable. I don't know how long the smooth feeling will last with my coarse beard, though. My menthol was provided by Proraso White today - mild but effective.
    Prep: Proraso White
    Soap: BM 42
    Brush: HIS Lather Monster
    Razor: Gillette Tech
    Blade: Voskhod
    AS: BM 42
