SOTN: Only my second shave using this restored Wostenholm. It was really a sad looking blade when I first got it (see Here but its turned into a wonderfully-sharp and smooth razor. Loud full-hollow sound and — did I mention it was sharp? Small nick on the chin where I let my attention wander….
Still a great shave with thick & slick MWF lather and Musgo finish.

WTG, minor touch-up

Nice shave in one pass with minimal touch-up with the GEM MMOC. This razor is really efficient. I reminded myself again and again to use no pressure and that seemed to help. I felt a little raw after the last shave with this razor but today am feeling better. Close, comfortable, enjoyable shave in one pass with minor touch-up.

I haven't used Proraso White in a good while but was reminded about how well it works. All the Proraso shave soaps are quality products. They may not be the slickest out there, and yes, they do leave a film on your equipment, but all of that isn't a concern when you get a really quality product for a good price. Proraso works quite well and I'm happy to have used it again today.

It's been a long time since I posted one of these, but I just had to share this wonderful shave. Now this is probably my 4th shave with this razor. I've never really got the hang of it. I can feel the blade and the teeth the whole time and it's very unsettling. I usually get some sort of irritation afterwards. Tonight I used an Astra sp which I have been using this past week. Normally I will use the personna blue. I've also been sticking to the proraso green soap because I'm close to using it all up.
As usual, the feeling of the blade and teeth was there but I did 6 passes ... Yes folks 6 passes. I was chasing the baby big time. The razor was very mild. It wouldn't quite get everything. I was for sure expecting major irritation and razor burn. I grabbed the after shave and ...... Nothing... Not a tingle, not single sign of irritation. I always get some sort of irritation.. I was in shock. I didn't get bbs... But I'm close enough. What a wonderful shave even though I had to work at it.. I'm going to pair it up with a feather when I come around to it again.

This morning's shave was very uneventful and smooth all of the above item's I have used before except for the Aqua Velva Musk A/S and time will tell with that,not much beard to shave this A.M. due to a late afternoon touch up for a dinner date with a very lovely lady I just recently met!! So all in all I got a BBS shave!!! HAPPY,HAPPY,HAPPY!!!

The Simpson CH2 Synthetic whipped up the Mystic Water Lime into a rich slick lather with little effort. Going with a 2 pass shave, XTG & ATG, followed by minimal cleanup ended in a near BBS. This is more than good enough for a work morning. I finished up the shave with a splash of F&C Shambala. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
