The MWF face lathered easily with my Semogue 1305 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with my Gillette fatboy and Derby Extra blade left me with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Brush: Semogue "Barbear Classico" Texugo



This was lovely. The Mudder Focker is one of a few soaps,where i didn´t need Aftershave or a Balm afterwards. Fantastic soap. Thick,slick lather which smelled pretty nice. The Fuller´s Earth in the soap seems to make the lather slicker. Great. The Preshave Gel is similar to the Floid Sandolor. A reason for me to buy it again and again.Wonderful stuff.

And the freeze goes on with ol' Cracky - my shaves these days have been bone-chillingly cold and so enjoyable. The Glacial Wintergreen soap is so potent that as soon as your brush makes contact with your face the menthol effect hits you and gets stronger and stronger. Guys, as I've said before - do NOT get any of this soap too close to your eyes if you don't want them to start tearing. My 444 balm moisturized my skin so well and provided a great prolongation to the freeze together with the Skin Bracer aftershave. Smooth as silk again, but the Sharp blade is now history.

I picked up this pack of blades some time ago and just never got around to using them. They have a slightly different feel than the regularly used blades, but work well enough. DFS+

No shave yesterday, but today's was outstanding. Good prep and lather helped, no doubt, but any slight tugging I noticed with the Perma-Sharp loaded in the milder Merkur 41c disappeared in the more aggressive FaTip. DFS+ results in two passes, with my primary reason for stopping at two being a desire to shave again tomorrow; any concerns about irritation or weepers seemed unfounded today. Bolzano may have a competitor in my den.

Using my sticks. I went with the Speick Stick today after using the La Toja Stick yesterday. Again, no muss, no fuss. Just dip it in the sink, rub it on my wet face, and “poof”, an almost instant thick, cushioning lather with the oscar11 2-Band Finest! Great 6th shave with the NEW SC and Med Prep! I finished with Speick.

This mornings shave wasn't quite as smooth as I like. I shaved in our bath room that I just finished remodeling and shaved off a normal mirror. Usually I shave in my shop and have a scissors type mirror about a foot away from my face. I was blind, lol. It's back to shaving in the shop or I'm not done remodeling. Have a good one.

This was my third Mastro Livi straight razor and it always proves to be a magnificent shaver. In about one year since the day I bought it, I have never honed it and it still has a very sharp and super keen edge. Superb straight razor!​

Easy three pass shave. No irritation anywhere. Scuttle lathered the Tiki this morning and had plenty of lather for the three passes and more if I would have needed, but the NEW did a fantastic job of efficiently mowing down the whiskers. This is my unrestored NEW.
