I have great memories of VBS growing up. I attended them at many different churches/denominations and enjoyed every one of them :angelic007:

    Monday

    Prep: CeraVe facial cleanser
    Soap: TSD unscented wheat cream
    Brush: Plisson synthetic
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101
    Blade: Astra SP
    After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion

After my struggle with the Williams soap yesterday, the TSD wheat cream today was a pleasure. My cream technique may be non standard, but it works for me. I scoop out a little cream from the container with my finger, smear it evenly over my face, then face lather with a damp brush. Wonderful lather!

I do the same thing Gary, I organize, (most of the time select one from the 3k photos of shave combinations) the night before so my feeble morning brain doesn't have to figure out these complex tasks in the wee hours of the morning. (I'm retired so, the wee hours are extended to 8:30 - 9:00 sometimes! :D

Do you mean to tell us you're recycling pictures of your shave of the day and we're not actually looking at a current shot of what was used this morning... or are you looking at previous photos to get an idea and then taking a fresh picture?

Razor: ER 1914 + GEM Junior
    Blade: GEM (3)
    Brush: Muhle Black Fiber Synthethic
    Lather: 3P
    Post: Pinaud Clubman

Not a good shave. I started off with the 1914 but it felt tuggy and uncomfortable. This is not a good razor. It has one of those large cutting angles which I hate. Much more than the rest of my SEs anyways. So I switched the blade to the GEM Junior and experienced a comfortable and smooth shave with what remained of my stubble.

First I decide the night before what razor I want to use and sometimes other factors enter into the selection process such as, do I want to use a specific shave cream or after shave or brush with that razor. I then look in the file photos for those combinations and select a photo (I have over 3 thousand different photos so, if I already have one of that combo, I use it instead of adding another photo of the same thing.) If I don't find a photo of the combo I have chosen I will stage and take a photo of it the night before. Sometimes, I do a new photo of the combo because I don't like the quality of the old photo (my photo skills have improved through the years) I take a new combo photo. What I show every day is exactly what I have used that morning just sometimes a "file photo" of it. This saves me a lot of time as I'm tending the ranch animals and making coffee and moving irrigation lines etc. which gets a bit complicated in the morning period. If I get any new products or razors I will always take a new combo photo of them. :)

    Shave of the day

    Pre- Hot shower

    Soap/cream- Stirling soap, sandalwood

    Brush- Omega boar 10810

    Razor- Mühle R89

    Blade- Treet, platinum

Post- Cold water rinse and Nivea ASB

First off, Stirling sandalwood is heavenly, I'm sooo gonna purchase it when I've tried all the samples I have. I really really enjoyed it.

First time using Treet. It was a good blade. Slight, very slight redness around the mustache area. But I blame my technique and not the blade =P

All in all a good comfortable shave, I'm happy!
