Enjoyed the menthol this morning, pretty humid around here lately but at least it hasn't been hot. Decent shave, have a good one.

Pre: Maggard Razors PSO – Cherry Sandalwood Vanilla
    Brush: GBS Pure Badger
Soap: Coates Original Almond Shaving Cream for Dry Skin
    Razor: Gillette TTO Black Handle
    Blade: Topaz Stainless
Splash: Shea Moisture Shave Tea Tree Herbal AS Elixir
    Post: Nivea Sensitive AS Balm
    After: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

New Blade for the TTO. So far I like the Topaz. Had a very smooth, very close shave with no weepers. There seemed to be a little more “chatter” during the shave but I need to do more research on what that indicates. The Coates was excellent as usual. It really lathers well and I love the scent. Leaves the skin feeling smooth. Topped it off with the old standby Ice Blue. I kind of want to try some of the other Aqua Velva scents I see online. Specifically the musk. I need to expand my after shave selection in general.

Stop by That Shave Life! :eatdrink013:

This soap is the real deal - delicious scent combined with the customary amazing HTGAM Synergy performance. My Plisson made easy yogurt-like lather and my SC101 smoothly and comfortably erased my stubble. My face feels great.

    Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol
    Soap: HTGAM Synergy Chocolate Bourbon
    Brush: Plisson Synthetic
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101
    Blade: Personna Lab Blue

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Coniferous Bath Soap
    Soap: Coate’s Lime Cream
    Razor: Gillette NEW Short Comb
    Blade: Personna Med Prep (3)
    Brush: Plisson #12 Grey Badger-22mmx56mm
    Aftershave: Proraso Green

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

The Coate’s Lime with my Plisson Grey Badger, Slim, and Med Prep today. Great shave, love the NEW SC with the Med Prep. The Coate’s creams lather easier in my extra hard water than almost all the soaps and creams that I have. I finished with Proraso Green.

    Nice photo, Bruce! :happy088:

Currently, I don't have a photo studio set up in my bathroom ;), so although I will at times shoot a 'live' location shot in the mornings, most instances I anticipate what I'll be using the next morning, and take some shots the previous evening. The day of, I'll 'purdy up' one of the images and upload it for SOTD.
Trying to do it all on a workday morning doesn't fly most mornings around here. Weekends are the exception....well, Saturdays, at least.

Thanks Kevin. :) As I said previously; I do about the same thing. I enjoy taking photos of my shave gear, just not in the wee hours of the morning. :lyrtuy5:
