First go with this Semogue. Boy did it smell like a piggy. Hopefully it'll go away sooner than later. I need borax to clean all my brushes anyways so maybe I'll pick some up. Other than that it's a fantastic brush. Huge face lathering machine! I might not ever buy anything other than a Semogue again, and I still have one to break in after this.

Working Night shift this week, so I got a great evening shave!

    Music: Today's Country on Pandora
Prep: Hot shower, wash with MK Men Face Soap
Pre: American Crew PSO, 60s under a hot towell
    Brush: Col. Conk Pure Badger
    Cream: TOBS Sandlewood
    Razor: Gillette 1954 Super Speed
    Blade: Shark
Shave: N-S, S-N, XTG, Blade Buffing Trouble Spots
Post: Hot Rinse, Witch Hazel, Cold Rinse
Inspection: A Kiss from the Wifey, She approved!

Great shave tonight. DFS for sure, and except for a few trouble spots on the neck, BBS! Used the last of my TOBS Sandlewood sample from CJames. Tomorrow it's on to TOBS Grapefruit!

L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :smiley freezing: :smiley freezing:
    #6 Horsehair
    Super Speed/7 AM day 6
Mama Bear Awakenings SS :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Anherb AS Conditioner :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Brut Cologne

Another almost perfect shave but the 7 AM blade got really tired, so it's now in the garbage and will be replaced on Monday morning. The Awakenings soap is so frigid that it can almost compete with Iced Subzero. The lather is a bit tricky to create, but when you get the water/soap ratio right you're in for a treat. The Anherb conditioner is not only very cooling and soothing, it's so moisturizing. I don't think the Penguin needs to be described because it's so good. ;) :D

PRE: Hot Towel + MR GLO Soap + Am. Crew PSO
    BRUSH: Omega 636
    SOAP: Tabac
    RAZOR: 78' Super Adjustable (7)
    BLADE: Gillette Silver Blue
POST: Alum + Alt. Innsbruck + Seacret ASB

    SS_130622.jpg

After having early morning classes the past two weeks, I decided to skip a day and get back on the AM shave routine. Also tried out the Silver Blue in the adjustable. The blade seems to work well for me in this razor too. Overall...A great result, would have been BBS if I hadn't missed a small spot under my chin (pilot error). Have a great day all!

I was careless. No blood, but it is a good thing Krampert's is so soothing.

It does seem that Eucalyptus has some cooling effect. The American Crew PSO I use has Eucalyptus EO and it is slightly cooling (to me). Either way...It is a nice scent!

I've never tried raquetball. I can't figure the rules out. Squash was obviously invented by a ten year old, so that's my game.

With all it's size it is still a gentle giant and delivers a smooth and comfortable shave with each use. Excellent razor for a sunny saturday morning. Nothing helps prepare a guy for tractor repairs than starting the morning with a 38C Barberpole shave; get's the testosterone flowing! lol Have a great weekend Gentlemen!
