Soap: SV Felce Aromatica
Aftershave: F&C Muir
Balm: Myrsol Emulsion



2 pass shave, love this SV soap, very nice scent and awesome performance. Soaked the puck in hot water first, and used the hot water for the shave. First time with no cold water shave in a long time. The Chromium Blade has been working out well. Got a great shave and finished off with Muir.

Haven't used the auto strop since the first week I got it. The only 2 prior shaves with it and a feather carbon blade were awful. But with my new found desire to really master SE razors I decided to give it a shot. This time with a modified Gem stainless blade. Did a 3 pass shave and my face is super smooth. Did get some irritation on my neck but it was not too bad. The angle on this razor is incredibly easy to find, just lay the head flat and use a very light touch.

Sure. You gently pry open one side of the dispenser at the back. Then you insert the blades inside the dispenser in an overlapping manner, which is to say if the first blade is put on the left side of the dispenser the next will go on the right side, then the third on the left side and so on and so forth.
Next time I refill the dispenser i will take some photos. Its probably easiest way to describe the process.
I do love using these blade dispensers with TTO razors, it makes loading the blade a lot quicker, easier and in my sleepyheaded morning daze, a lot safer.

Yes, it does ok. Its pretty soft to start, but it lathers ok.

The TSD Iced Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #81 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Red Tip razor with a Personna Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Buy a soap already, man - anything from his soap collection. Then you'll see the magic.

 

Oh, I will. Just waiting for end of summer. And I do expect to see that magic!
