    Prep - Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
    Razor - Gillette Slim Adjustable
    Blade - Astra SP (#1)
    Brush - Shavemac Raptor 26/52 DO1 3 Band Bulb
    Soap - Tiki Bar The Captain
    After - C.A. Trading Co. Dominica Bay Rum A/S
    Result - Ridiculously Dolphin Smooth

    A completely new soap and after shave for me, a present from my wife after a visit to Pasteur's in New York - what a wife!!
    The best compliment I can give this soap is to say it's the Phoenix & Beau of American soaps. Just about as slick, creamy and cushioning as soaps come, but the post shave feel, wow.........just wow, I really wouldn't do it justice trying to describe it, or the scent! All finished off with a proper Bay Rum.
    I seriously have never had a more enjoyable shave, nor has my face ever felt better.

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I read the thread about the Gillette Silver Blue fan club. I have many of these so I tried them today. Very nice blade. Definitely one of my top blades now. Overall, a great shave. One weeper, close shave, no irritation.

    Razor: Gillette Redtip
    Blade: Gillette Sputnik
    Brush: Maggard 24mm synthetic
    Soap: B&M Cologne Russe
    Post: Cologne Russe aftershave



    Got a very smooth 2 pass shave today. I think I prefer the scent of Cologne Russe in the shaving soap more than a A/S. The soap whipped up a creamy lather with ease. Really like the new tubs B&M have, low profile and quality threads make it easy to open & close. Happy with today's results, and wish everyone else the same.

    The TSD Iced Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #81 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Red Tip razor with a Personna Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Hey, Joe (" Frankie Laine") I like Old Spice too. I used it all the time when I was in the Navy. I started using non-alcohol Afta, when my tremors had me slashing myself so much the "sting" was just too much for me. The Brut is pretty good now that my meds have taken care of the tremors. I`m about half way through the Cremo and been scouting around for a replacement, back to Proraso, or try something new. This is the first time I`ve seen Old Spice cream, I`ll have to check it out. Thanks, happy shaving.
