    Thursday:

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Super Speed/Rapira day 5
    Noxzema SC :love008 :love008 :happy108 :happy108
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
Diana Sport Menthol Balsam :love008 :love008 :anifrozen :anifrozen
    JHL Cologne

The Noxzema cream brings back such wonderful memories of my younger days, and makes me feel so nostalgic. It also gives me so much shaving enjoyment. This video is a nice little Ukrainian folk song--"Oy na hori dva dubki", which means, Two Oak Trees on the Mountain. It was done in the region of Hutsulshchyna, which is very close to the Romanian border. ;) :D

Still going Lloyd. If it doesn't die on the last stroke tomorrow you're gonna have to draw another line in the sand.

I can't wait to see how another Astra hold up. Is it all Astras or just this one, and if so, why on earth don't they do this to all of them? So very nice. 4 out of 5 again. Very satisfied.

Hey man, I picked 15 shaves, days ago...But now that it's here, I hope you make 20...I've gotten attached to this blade...I like tuning in everyday and seeing this blade get down...

Shaving in a hurry with a straight can get be really wrong choice! Today I've got a nice picture of what can happend... Nice cut in my neck quicky slowed me down to normal speed and I finished my shave with a nice 'almost DFS' result. What I love in straights - the cuts looks like hair-thin red stripes and can be noticed only in 1 day, if the cut was not too deep and long, of cause! All in all, nice shave! We need a reminder to slow down our daily running from time to time :)

    Thirsty Thursday

    D'Lan shave cream
    Shark Blade
    Ever Ready boar
(first time) with a Gillette Aristocrat, a gift from my son. Thanks Bob!
    cold rinse and witch hazel
    Aramis Tuscany cologne

I've had closer shaves, but very comfortable shave with this set up. While the Aristocrat may not be (so far) the best, or aggressive razor that I've used, just looking at it in my hand is a thing of beauty. What heft it has! Since I began this journey 2 years ago, I have always drooled over the Aristocrat. To me, it's one of the most "manly" looking razors out there.

End result - not too shabby.

3 Passes = 5 Blade, Off the Hook, Bang A Gong, Inter-Galactic BBS!

Wow! The Futur is a beastly razor! I have read recommendations to start at 1 and dial up from there until you find the setting you like. I went the other direction and slammed it to 5. Using negative pressure I was able to bang out one of the smoothest, closest shaves I have had and I did it in three passes.

Have a great day and enjoy the weekend Ya'll!

Gave me a BBS, smelled funny because of the Arko. It gives a good lather but the smell is a bit too much for me.

The Roxi cream is unfortunately no longer available, and it really is a shame. :( It gives so much rich lather with a nice scent and very soothing skincare. The Booster Mosswood aftershave is another brand which my wife hates, but I love--she actually refused to kiss me when she noticed I was wearing it! ;) :D (Later on, she changed her mind!)
