Had such a close shave yesterday that today's shave was more fun than necessity. Turtleship is one of the top artisans IMO, ingredient list provides hints as to its performance and post shave, and it delivers in spades. This Patchouli scent is a great addition to the Turtleship line up. natural woodsy patchouli that is not overpowering, that honor goes to the Glastonbury. This stuff is a patchouli bomb that I have grown to love, although not a scent for everyone, it is much more complex than just patchouli. Hope everyone is in good health and getting wonderful shaves!

I used my favorite scent today to celebrate these amazing folks. I love the mousse de saxe and ylang-ylang notes that really set this Fougere apart. The lather is optimal, paving the way for a close and comfortable shave.

Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave today with the Schick N1 fitted with a twin blade. Marvelous lather from the Tabac shave stick. I finished with Old Spice. Enjoy your day friends. ☺

Leviathan was my first Barrister and Mann love, but it didn't start out that way. I was initially repulsed by it as was my wife. However, by the end of the day, I was missing it, and my wife became drawn to it as well. Someone explained that my nose had "received an education." This unique primal, musky accord has become a very seductive fragrance for me. Despite coffee being an advertised note, I very rarely detect it, and when I do, it's fleeting. I suspect the coffee note fuses with the leather resulting in something peculiarly animalic and feral. Leviathan paints a vivid picture of an abandoned dark wood-laden chamber replete with carefully preserved remains of exotic ancient beasts, over-sized leather upholstered chairs and enormous leather-bound books strewn about as if the prior occupants vanished in terror.
