Received this tub of Glide from a recent trade. Not sure about the scent, it is a bit heavy on the clary sage IMO. Consistancy is pretty much a cream, so would recommend lathering in a bowl. Protection and lather quality were quite good, but not sure if it will make it to top 10, Perhaps scent plays a roll. Will have to experiment further since the lather from the 1st pass was a bit dry, underestimated how much water this stuff can take. Finished off with SDP (now known as Eleven) Blue Spruce balm, soothing on the skin and smells nice.

Very nice Brut themed shave this morning. The scent of this WK soap is a near identical Brut clone, a nice dark fougere. Lather quality is typical awesomeness one would expect from WK. Hope everyone is doing well and getting great shaves!

Just the Basics June/Just for Fun June - take your pick

I don't know how to make a shave any smoother or faster. Could they have named the Super Speed because of how fast it can provide a great shave? Perhaps? Maybe? Well, of course, it's the guy operating the razor that makes the magic happen but with this gear it's easy to do. The Soap Commander took about 3 seconds to load and lather with the JR54 and the Rapira blade was smooth as grease. No issues at all. BBS in two passes and a tiny bit of touch up. Seriously - this may be the minimalist setup I've been looking for, or at least a contender.

As for the scent of the soap, I like it. Not as strong as some barbershop inspired scents, but a very nice scent. That now makes Fortitude, Vision and Honor that I've trialed in the past week. Of the three I think Fortitude would make the cut for my collection. Vision and Honor are not out of contention, but Fortitude was just a bit more to my liking. All fantastic soaps, however.

Long day today as I spent it in the company of the Regional Director. He was using the store for his office today so it was a long day of discussions and just dealing with another person all day. I see a potential early night tonight. Hope you all had a great day!
